After a busy few months, Patrick and I decided that bringing on a new staff member would be a great idea. We put some feelers out to our network, and Rachel was a standout!
Now that our systems and processes are bedded down, Rachel is helping us ‘spread the word’ on Long Property…
Long Property discussion groups
Rachel’s ‘discussion group’ project is one that you may be interested in.
We’ve started hosting these and they have become quite popular (we’ve had a lot of interest given all the media surrounding the residential property and finance markets lately!).
Here’s a quick overview:
Choose 2-10 people (could be friends, family or work colleagues)
Myself and one of our key property experts will provide a 20 minute presentation on the current state of affairs, topics include:
- Impact of the royal commission and regulatory intervention in the banking sector
- Potential impact of Labor’s proposed negative gearing/CGT changes
- Finance strategies clients are pursuing in the current market
- Capital city market outlook
- Anything else you would like us to cover for you…
This is followed by healthy discussion, debate and an informal Q&A
